The game has a complicated set of rules. To win, a team must have possession of the ball in its own end zone. The team can then run or throw the ball into the opponent’s end zone to score a touchdown. The other way to score a touchdown is by kicking the ball through the goal posts for two points. The defensive team can also score points by tackling the ball carrier or intercepting a pass. The team with the most points wins. If neither team scores a touchdown, the game goes into overtime.
